The Law School Admission Council (LSAC), located in Newtown, Pennsylvania, oversees virtually every aspect of the law school admission process. It is through the LSAC that you will sign up for the LSAT, have your scores, transcript and letters of recommendations submitted to law schools, and submit your applications themselves. It is therefore essential that you register (as early as possible, since registration costs you nothing) at the council's website:

The LSAC website is also a comprehensive source of information for all aspects of the admission process.

Although the initial registration for your LSAC account is free, you will not be able to apply to any law schools until you register and pay for the Credential Assembly Service (CAS):

Unless you opt out, your application data will be shared with the pre-law advising office here at the College. We strongly urge you not to opt out:  the information we get from the LSAC is essential to advising you and others here about the chances of admission.
